Coronavirus Response

UPDATE: April 25, 2020

Good evening, TOCS Families! I pray this finds you all healthy and feeling joy, despite this hardship, because of His love and abundant provisions.

After looking at our governor’s protocol for coming back together, it is sadly evident that we will not be able to finish out the school year at TOCS. While reaching out to TOCS teachers for help, we will continue to learn and work using our online platform. We miss you all and encourage you to reach out to us for help or to just say, “Hello.”

Our last day of online schooling will be Wednesday, May 20th. We will be having a carline registration on Friday, May 1st from 4-6 p.m for current TOCS families. During this time, you may register, drop off read-a-thon reading record sheets and money and/or pick up class pictures.

We will be crediting the last lunch order/ pizza orders to your lunch account for the 2020-2021 school year, unless you call the school office and leave a voicemail by this Friday stating that you would prefer a reimbursement check to be handed out at the May 1st carline registration.

We will be planning a carline book drop off/ report card pick up/ yearbook pick up on Monday, June 1st as well. Registration for new TOCS families will take place in the carline on Monday, May 4th from 8-11 and 4-6. Thank you for your overwhelming support,  and please know that we’re all praying for your families daily!

March 16, 2020

Good afternoon! In response to the current coronavirus situation, Governor Bill Lee has urged all schools to close temporarily. After a meeting composed of health care professionals, a TOCS Advisory Team member, and TOBC staff, we have decided that in the best interest of your children, families, and staff, TOCS will be joining local school districts in closing through April 3rd. We will reconvene on Monday, April 6th, and I sincerely apologize for the hardship that this places on some of your families.

Please join us in prayer for our county and our country, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” -2 Chronicles 7:13-14
