7th Grade Science Assignments; May 11-15

Finish up any work you need to on your project.  It is due by tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12.  Remember it counts as a test grade.


Be sure you have submitted your picture of you with your finished project today.  


Complete the Standardized-Test Prep Questions on page 467. It is due Thursday.


Read pages 468-470.  Don’t forget to turn in your test questions.  Please be sure that you check your email/texts to see if you have corrections.


Read pages 471-474.  Be sure all your test corrections have been turned in to me by the afternoon.  Please have your Section Review 21A questions on page 474 completed and turned in by Tuesday, May 19.

About Pat Carpenter

My credentials: B.S. in Elementary Education (grades 1-9); Masters in Education; 45 hours of additional graduate work. After 36 years in the classroom, I retired from public schools with Career Ladder III certification and rated as highly qualified to teach middle school science and language arts. I started teaching a TOCS in the fall of 2011. Family: My husband, George, and I exchanged wedding vows in 1972. We have two daughters--Anne and Aimee. Anne works in Nashville for the Health Department and Aimee is a registered nurse at Johnson City Medical Center. My faith: I was raised in church. I accepted Christ as my Savior as a child. The older I get, the more I realize that I can do nothing without Christ, but I can do all He wants me to do in His strength. With every word and deed, I am accountable to Christ. I take the education of each child very seriously. I teach whole heartedly as unto Christ. It is the Lord Christ I serve. Interests: Outside of the classroom I like to hike. I love looking at God's creation as I hike on a trail and just praising Him for His creation. My favorite form of praise is singing. I am active in my church choir and sing occasional solos, which allows me to share a part of my testimony with others.
