Pearl Harbor…9-11…COVID-19… These are all events that changed America. Life in America was different after these events. I have often heard stories of people saying, “I remember clearly what I was doing when I heard the news.” I can remember clearly what I was doing when I heard the news about the airplanes crashing into the Twin Towers. I thought it couldn’t be true, but then I saw the replays on television. Life in America changed after that. We have been living through a turning point in American, even world, history. What will the history books say about COVID-19? Write your thoughts on how COVID-19 has affected you. How did you feel when you realized that you wouldn’t be going back to school? How do you think things will be different in the future? How do you think people in the future will feel when they study about COVID-19? Write a page telling me your thoughts, your reactions, your hopes.
