Dear TOCS Families,

Please know that you are prayed for each day, and please remember to let us know of any specific prayer requests that you would like added to the prayer request portion of the Nutshell.

Pledge sheets and pledges for walk-a-thon are due this Thursday and Friday. School age students will be walking on Thursday and preschoolers on Friday. School age students may wear comfortable clothing that day that is school appropriate and follows our handbook policy, but it does not have to be standardized dress. Please turn in all pledges by this Friday, October 29th.

Please remember that TOCS and TOBC are working together to host a fall bazaar this Saturday, October 30th from 12-5 followed by a trunk or treat beginning at 4 until the candy is gone. We would still love for you to join us with your crafts and/or yard sale items by calling the office to let us know for planning purposes.

TOCS and TOBC will be working together to honor our veterans by gathering pictures of loved ones who have served or are currently serving our country. TOBC will beplacing copies of the pictures sent in upstairs in an honorary display wall for all to see and pray for. If you would like to send in a photo, please label it well or scan and email it to mellison@toweringoaks.org. All pictures are due by October 29th.

I would also like to invite any students who are in 5th and 6th grade to attend Mrs. Shelley’s Monday after school Bible study/fellowship time from 3:30-4:30. The next one will be November 1st in the Spanish room.

In His Righteous and Holy Name,
