Dear TOCS Families,

I hope this finds you all enjoying this warmer weather this week. Please remember to continue to partner with us by making sure your student is adhering to the dress code with their sweatshirts (plain or Warrior Wear only for K-8) while the cool mornings continue.

Please also remember to send in a water bottle with your child each day because it is not possible for us to provide them on a regular basis, and we want everyone to stay hydrated.

If you are able, please send in coins with your student for Angelman’s Syndrome Awareness and Research. We will be collecting coins all month for this crucial research effort.

I would also like to remind you of our upcoming T.O.C.S. Kindergarten Workshop on February 22 at 3:30 and our annual K-8 spelling bee on Wednesday, February 28 at 1:00.

I would also like to remind you that Coach Scott and Coach Helfrich are offering a wonderful cross country and now a track team opportunity for any interested runners grades 6-12. The team had a wonderful season last year and a great time of fellowship while staying fit and representing T.O.C.S. very well at the meets. The team practices weekly on Monday and Friday afternoons beginning at 3:30. You are welcome to text Coach Scott (call the office for his number) if you’re interested in learning more or trying it out, and both coaches will be in the building within the next few weeks to offer more information.

Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically.

Please call the office if you have a prayer request that you would like added to the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell. I know that I speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well.

Registration for 2024-2025 is coming up at the end of the month. Your tuition must be up to date and fees paid in order to register your child/children for next school year!

If you have a question regarding your tuition/fees the financial account can be checked through the family portal.
An information packet for changes/updates for next school year went home with last week’s “nutshell”, as well as a 2024-2025 school calendar . Please keep this information where you can refer to it when needed!

*Monday, February 26, is registration for all in-house families. It is necessary for anyone registering for preschool and kindergarten to come in person to secure a place for your child/children. Please remember, it is first come, first served for class spaces!

Families with 1st—12th grade students for next school year will receive an invitation email to re-enroll your student(s), and do not have to come in person.
