The Towering Oaks Christian School Middle School Boys Cross Country team competed in the TN State XC championship race at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville yesterday. 330 boys competed in the race, and we placed 21st as a team.
On the individual side, Caleb Scott finished in 2nd place overall and recorded the 2nd fastest time ever on the course, Wyatt Harrison in 46th place, Jackson Roberts in 213th place, Isaac Reeves in 241st place, Knox Laws in 287th place, Isaiah Helfrich in 312 place, and Declan Gourley in 313 place.
The boys have improved a lot this year and performed well. Blakely Clements competed in the middle school girls TN state championship race and has had a strong season. And 4th grader Elliana Scott competed and ran well in the TN elementary girls varsity state championship race.
