“Hello,” from Mrs. Harrison

August 6, 2020     Rebekah Harrison

My name is Rebekah Harrison and I will be the Spanish teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. I would like to share a few things about myself to help you get to know me better. I have taught drama/ music at TOCS in past years so many of you may already know me. I am a member of First Baptist Church in Greeneville and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 21. My family and I have ministered to the Hispanic Community here in Greeneville since 2008 and currently lead a Bible study in Spanish at FBC.

In 2007, the Lord put a desire in our family’s heart to share the Gospel with the Latino community in Greeneville. At the time we didn’t know much Spanish and needed to learn the language in order to communicate clearly. In August 2007 our family moved to San Jose, Costa Rica and attended The Spanish Language Institute. After finishing the yearlong program and proficiency test I received a diploma in Spanish as a second language. I am looking forward to teaching your child Spanish!

If you have any questions now or throughout the coming school year, you may contact me at school 423-639-0791 on Tuesdays, Wednesday, or Thursdays.

God bless you!
 Rebekah Harrison
