Dear TOCS Families,
It’s hard to believe that we are soon closing out another school year, yet we have many wonderful and important academic tasks to accomplish in the upcoming weeks. Please remind your student(s) to keep working hard at the job the Lord has given them.
Our TOCS Showcasers have also been hard at work preparing a showcase for next week. It will be available as a matinee for our students and grandparents only this Thursday at 2:00, and it will be open to everyone on Friday evening May 3 at 7:00.
Please join us in supporting their efforts and those of our theater coach, Sara Claibourne.
Next week begins our standardized testing and spring music program practices in the afternoon, so please ensure students get plenty of rest and have a healthy breakfast. We also need their program outfits here for Tuesday’s practice, and we look forward to seeing you and your loved ones here on Thursday evening, May 9 by 6:30 for a Christ-honoring performance.
The generosity of God’s children never ceases to amaze me; Read-a-thon totals are in and $13,099.05 was donated for our school ministry!
We look forward to moving up our offices to the roof on Monday, May 13.
The Baileyton Community Church has generously provided food to sell tickets for meals this Saturday, so that all of the proceeds will go to benefit the T.O.C.S. TSA Team for their national level competition in Orlando this summer. The meals will be served from 4:00-6:00 from their church for $10; one ticket includes chicken casserole, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, roll, and dessert.
Please contact the school office if you would like to purchase one in advance, or you are welcome to purchase upon your arrival.
Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically.
Please call the office if you have a prayer request that you would like added to the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell. I know that I speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well.
In His Service,
Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
