In this week’s Nutshell:
- We still need paper copies of birth certificates, social security cards, and immunization forms for all kindergarteners, new students, and all 7th graders. Please submit these immediately.
- Parents/drivers must stay in their vehicles while students load to maintain a consistent carline. Smaller children can be assisted with buckling up in the large side parking lot.
- T.O.C.S. will offer FREE sports physicals this Thursday, August 14, from 3:30-6:00 in the choir room. All student athletes must have a sports physical and a signed liability waiver/code of conduct form. Enter through the underground doors with a parent and insurance cards.
- Our T.O.C.S. Cross Country season is underway. We have both MS and HS teams from August to early November.
- We practice 3-4 times a week and compete in about 10 races.
- We’re always looking to add runners.
- Contact Coach David Scott via the School Office if interested. Go Warriors!
- Boys baseball (spring season) has sparked interest at TOCS.
- If you have a male student aged 6-11, contact Lenny Jackson or Athletic Director Coach Brooke Ricker at Via the school office.
- The 8th graders will sell ice cream and sweet treats every Friday, while the P.T.F. will sell popcorn on the last Friday of each month. All items are $1, and the proceeds help offset the 8th grade end-of-year trip.
- We pray for each of your families.
- We support you and your family spiritually and academically daily. If you have a prayer request for the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell, call the office. We appreciate your prayers as well.
