Dear TOCS Families,

What a wet beginning we’ve had this year; please remember that we follow Greene County Schools for inclement weather closings/delays. WGRV has a wonderful text alert option, so for those who aren’t already signed up you could benefit from this. Most forms this year can be uploaded through the family portal, but we do need a paper copy of birth certificates, social security cards, and immunization forms for all kindergarteners and any new students. If you have not yet turned in all of these, please get this taken care of immediately.

We also need all parents/ drivers to stay in their vehicle while students are loading to keep the carline moving consistently; we have a very large side parking lot where smaller children can be assisted with buckling up.
Due to the Lord’s provisions through some loving and dedicated, Christian physicians, T.O.C.S. will be offering FREE sports physicals next Friday evening, August 25 from 3:30-5:00 in the choir room. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity because all of our student athletes must have a sports physical on file this year as well as a signed liability waiver/code of conduct form.

Booster basketball players and the school office will be selling Pizza Inn fundraiser tickets for the evening of September 11. All proceeds will go to support all of the booster teams, so please mark this date on your calendar, purchase some tickets, and join us in support.

The T.O.C.S. Twirl Team will be hosting an important informational meeting on Tuesday, August 22 at 5:00. This is a K-12 team that meets for practices on Tuesday afternoons from 5:15- 6:00 for K-5 and 6:00-7:00 for grades 6-12.
The 8th graders will be selling ice cream and sweet treats every Thursday (beginning this Thursday) this school year, and the P.T.F. will be selling popcorn on the last Friday of each month. All items are $1, and the money will be used to help offset the cost of the 8th grade end of the year trip.

Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically. I know that I speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well.
