I thank God for each of your families, and I ask that you continue to join me in prayer for the health of our school families, for Raena(7th) and her family, our faculty, staff, and each other. Some very tangible needs have presented themselves for their family while they are away from work to love and support Raena. Many of you have asked what can I do, so I have decided that we will have a school wide themed day on the last Friday of each month that will cost $1.00. The money raised will go towards grocery, gas, and restaurant gift cards to try to help their family. This Friday, August 26th will be camouflage day (this includes shirts, pants, socks, and hats). Homeroom teachers will collect the money in the morning and send it to the office. We will also have popcorn this Friday, so please wear your camo and bring $2.00 to enjoy both of these important fundraisers.

We will also be sending home information today about our annual School Store fundraiser. It is completely online, and all of the profits go directly to support classroom teachers to purchase extra learning supplements. Please share this convenient link with family and friends. Thank you for diligently following the new carline route! Our preschool students are doing SO well and are learning their new school routines. We need all parents to have their carline tag visible and stay in their vehicle while students are loading to keep the carline moving consistently; we have a very large side parking lot where smaller children can be assisted with buckling up. Reminder, hot lunch will begin for preschool students on Tuesday, September 6th, so for those of you interested, please be sure to login to the family portal, make your selections, and pay by the cut-off date posted.

We will be offering a FACTS hot lunch and general help session this Friday in the upstairs chapel from 8:15-9:00 and 2:30-4:00 to assist parents. Please stop in if you have ANY questions.

Reminder, T.O.C.S. Showcasers will NOT be meeting again until after Labor Day.

Reminder, T.O.C.S Twirl Team begins tonight (first elementary and then MS/HS age) for students who are interested.

I would like to invite any students who are in 5th and 6th grade to attend Mrs. Shelley’s Monday after school Bible study/fellowship time from 3:30-4:30 beginning on Monday, September 12th in the Spanish room.

Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritally and academically. Please call the office if you have a prayer request that you would like added to the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell. I know that l speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well.

In His Precious and Holy Name,
Amy Pfaff-Biebel
