News in a Nutshell: Feb 15, 2022

February 16, 2022     tocsadmin

Please know that TOCS students and their families are all lifted up in prayer each and everyday. From prayers of encouragement to health concerns to the Holy Spirit moving in the hearts of our students, you are loved and prayed for daily.

Thank you to all the parents, students, high school choir, and P.T.F. helpers who spread love, fun, music, and sugar around the building yesterday. I will send an update next week with how much money was raised from this Valentine’s Day fundraiser.

Please remember, coin jars are in each classroom this week to collect “change” as we help to “change” the research potential for those struggling with Angelman syndrome.

Next week, which is just a four day week, will have a few special and fun activities in store. We will be hosting our annual school book fair, so a flier is attached. We will also be hosting our spirit week with the following days:

  • Tuesday, 2/22 – Musical Memories day ( dress like an appropriate musician Mozart, George Strait, TobyMac, etc.)
  • Wednesday, 2/23 – Patriot Day ( show your American spirit through as much red, white, and blue that you can wear in your hair, shoes, and clothing
  • Thursday, 2/24 – Tie/crazy tie day ( bow ties or neck ties with dress shirts or school approved clothing)
  • Friday, 2/25 – Salad dressing day ( dress like you are French, Italian, Ranch, Thousand Island, etc.)

I would like to invite any 5th and 6th graders who would like to attend Mrs. Shelley’s Monday fellowship time. The next one will be next Monday, February 28th.

She will be having Christcentered activities in the Spanish room after school onMonday evening from 3:30-4:30.

In His Service,

Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
