Dear TOCS Families,
Friday’s Veteran’s Day Celebration was honoring, and I appreciate all the effort that was put into this special celebration by Mrs. Mancil, teachers, students, and parents who generously gave time, food, and support. I know that it was truly enjoyed by the veterans present.
Second grade’s annual “Ox Cart Sale” raised $628.28 for Christian education for the students in Belize. Thank you to Mrs. Masters, 2nd graders, their families, and those who generously purchased items.
I also want to share how blessed we have been through our annual walk-a-thon fundraiser this year; $5,302.00 was pledged and collected so far!!
Next Tuesday, we will be dismissing early through the carline beginning between 11:15-11:30 to celebrate Thanksgiving. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” The morning will be full of “old timey” and Thanksgiving activities like butter making, whittling, wagon rides, story telling, crafting, candle dipping, and more for students. We would like to invite you to listen to singing in the chapel to conclude this time of giving thanks. Grades 3-5 and K-2 will be singing from 10:40- 11:00 in the chapel, and the middle school and high school chorus will be singing from 11-11:20. If you choose to join us, please park and enter through the upstairs church offices entrance.
We would like to encourage those that can to bring a shoe box this week to bless another child for Christmas. All shoe boxes are due this week, and extra tags are at he office if needed.
This Friday, you may bring $1 for popcorn and/or $1 for crazy sock day. The crazy sock day will be a fundraiser for Raena’s family and the popcorn fundraiser will be added to our playground resurfacing fund.
Also for those of you already signed up, also please remember to attend Mrs.Shelley’s Monday after school Bible study “CrossTrain” from 3:15- 4:00 next Monday, November 21st in the Cross Train room.
Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically.
In His Service,
Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
