Dear TOCS Families,

Thank you to those who donated, prepared, and purchased caramel apples last week and the week prior. I know that they were enjoyed by those who ate them and $198 was raised! As it is quickly getting very cool, please remember to check your child for dress code compliance. Solid colored long sleeves or Warrior wear are the only approved dress code for K-8; High school students’ dress code differs from K-8 students. Please refer to your handbook if you have questions, or ask a staff member or me.

Next week is an abbreviated one to celebrate Thanksgiving. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” We will have school as usual on Monday and a morning of fun fall/giving thanks activities on Tuesday until 11:15. Students will work through several stations: candle dipping, hay rides, crafts, old time story telling, tie dye, and singing. The tie dye station is just for those who would like to bring their white “Face the giant with God” warrior wear shirt, or students may pur- chase that shirt for $10 at the school office if they would like to tie dye.

Parents are welcome to attend their child’s time of praising God through song, and then students may be checked out for Thanksgiving break. Parents who choose to attend should enter upstairs and go to the chapel (near Mrs. Barbara’s office); please enjoy, sign out your child with their teacher, and then exit to allow room for the next group. K-3 will be 10:20-10:40, grades 4-5 10:45-10:55, and grades 6-8 11:00-11:10. For those not attending, the carline will run from 11:15-11:30. Please remember, there is NO extended care NEXT Tuesday!

I would also like to invite any students who are in 5th and 6th grade to attend Mrs. Shelley’s Monday after school Bible study/fellowship time from 3:30 – 4:30. The next one will be November 22nd in the Spanish room.

In His Glorious Name, Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
