Dear TOCS Families, The Lord is certainly providing beautiful fall mornings and evenings, and as it cools off, please remind your student to wear solid colored hoodies/sweaters or TOCS Warrior wear apparel only to comply with dress code expectations.
I want to thank all of you that participated in the Domino’s Slice the Price fundraiser. $1,000 was profited from that, and it will be placed in the P.T.F. account to be used towards our playground resurfacing project. We are also trying to get a total count for the Walk-athon by the end of this week, so please send in any pledges that have not yet been turned in. Thank you again for your generosity and support of this school ministry.
The T.O.C.S. Trap team will be having an informational meeting to discuss the minimum program requirements, equipment needs, and costs on October 4 at 3:30 in the library for any interested students ages 10-18. Please make every effort to attend if you plan to participate. Two years ago, we were blessed with Sara Claibourne joining us as a theater coach of the T.O.C.S. Showcasers. She will be starting practices with our 1st-5th grades beginning October 17 and grades 6th-12th on October 19 for the remainder of the school year; information was attached last week for those who are interested in joining this fun and creative group.
With constantly rising food costs, we will unfortunately need to raise the cost of hot lunch on Thursday only for the Chick-fil-a bagged lunch; please note the upcoming change in the next Chick-fila lunch order form in the upcoming form.
Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically. Please call the office if you have a prayer request that you would like added to the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell. I know that I speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well. In His Service, Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
