I’m grateful that our Heavenly Father provides seasonal changes for us, and I hope that you are all enjoying these cooler mornings as well. Please remember that K-8 dress code continues to be solid colored sweatshirt/sweaters and Warrior Wear only.

I appreciate that several of you have reached out to the P.T.F., but there’s still work to be done if you’d like to help. If so, please download Team Reach and enter the code TOCSPTF24 to introduce yourself to the group.

Keith Paxton, owner of Little Top Restaurant, called yesterday to happily let us know that Towering Oaks Christian School has been nominated for best Greene County School in the Greeneville Sun and voting is taking place now. If you’d like to cast your vote, please go to the Greeneville Sun Best of the Best.

The Towering Oaks TSA chapter is hosting TSA days on September 20-21. This will be our major fundraising opportunity for the year. We will be having a massive “yard” sale in the gym, hosting vendors, bringing in food trucks and hopefully having live Christian music.

Funds raised from this event will be used to send our students to regional, state, and national competitions, as well as grow our STEM program here at TOCS. Please scan the code for more details.
Please pray that this is a beneficial endeavor both for our TSA chapter as well as an opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the community.

Please know that each of your families is prayed for daily and that we are here to support you and yours spiritually and academically. Please call the office if you have a prayer request that you would like added to the “School Family Prayer Concerns” section of the News in a Nutshell. I know that I speak on behalf of the TOCS faculty, staff, and other families when I say that we appreciate your prayers as well.

In His Service,
Amy Pfaff-Biebel T.O.C.S. Administrator
